The four Managing Partners have over 80 years experience and have worked together in the UK, Continental Europe, US and Asia. They share track records of advising management, building professional services firms and teams, and working across the company life-cycle from early-stage venture capital to large multinational organisations.
Partner, Wouter joined Frontiers Capital in 2009 from Fortis where he headed the Financial Institutions & Public Sector businesses and led the integration of ABN AMRO's Wholesale Banking activities. He was previously global head of coverage of mid-sized financial institutions at ABN AMRO and Chief of Staff to ABN AMRO's CEO. Prior to that he worked in structured finance and held various management and client responsibilities while based in Latin America, the USA and Central Eastern Europe.
Partner, Govert joined Frontiers Capital in 2008. He has over 15 years experience in private equity, strategic development, structured finance and M&A. He was a senior partner in ABN AMRO's Merchant Banking business, with particular focus on direct private equity investments in all sectors of the European financial services industry.
Partner, Piyush joined Frontiers in 2008 from Marakon Associates, where he consulted clients on strategic and operational matters. Earlier, Piyush was with KPMG where he led financial advisory engagements for clients in the technology, media and telecom sectors in the US and India. He is a non-executive director at EGS.
Managing Partner, Roelof joined Frontiers Capital in 2009. Previously, he was a member of the management board of NPM Capital NV since 2002. Prior to joining NPM Capital, he was managing director of HAL Investments B.V. for a period of twelve years
Partner, Floris joined Frontiers Capital in 2008. He has over 10 years of experience in Private Equity, Structured Finance and Corporate Finance. Between 2003 and 2008 he was an investment manager in ABN AMRO Merchant Banking, Floris has a strong background in financial analysis, financial engineering, risk management and valuation.
Managing Partner, Nigel founded Frontiers Capital in 2001. He was previously a managing director at Credit Suisse jointly running its European Consumer Group. Prior to that he was a director of Kleinwort Benson and ran its Paris corporate finance department for four years. He is a non-executive director at Eazyfone, EGS and weComm.
Managing Partner, Herman joined Frontiers Capital in 2007 from consulting firm Marakon Associates where, over 18 years, he was central to its European business advising CEOs on how to deliver consistent long-term value growth. He was executive chairman of Marakon in Europe and is now chairman of Eazyfone. He was previously an International Manager at HSBC with postings in Hong Kong and emerging markets.
Managing Partner, Arnold joined Frontiers Capital in 2008 from ABN AMRO, where, since 2003, he co-headed the Merchant Banking business. He was previously Head of ABN AMRO's Corporate Development department and a Managing Director in Corporate Finance. Prior to that he spent close to 10 years as an investment banker at Swiss Bank Corporation/SBC Warburg.
